Consists of micarta, which is a composite consisting of epoxy/resin and layered textile that provides a solid material with good grip properties and visual character.

Micarta is somewhat kinder to tools than G10, as it consists of regular textiles instead of fiberglass. Micarta is also about 10% lighter. The production of thick parts requires a lot of work to get it right, which means that this solid shaft material is a rare commodity. Finally available in block form! We also have lots of colors and sizes in plate form!

You can also make Micarta yourself, with your own textiles and epoxy. For example, cut up an old pair of trousers and layer them with this epoxy .
