Lawood Plate - Laminated and colored shank blank

Knife handle blanks of laminated and through-dyed wood.

The blanks are available in block and plate form and are made up of approx. 1mm thick layers of colored wood that are laminated (glued together). The result is a strong material with good grip properties similar to ordinary wood. The material is easily shaped like wood, and the different layers also give a nice pattern in the shaft when it has been shaped.

Pictures show demo pieces that have been sanded to show off the pattern, what you are ordering is a brand new unsanded blank, example of this is also pictured.
