Protect and waterproof your leather sheaths and other leather products with this specialized leather wax from Casström.
Description
Casström Lapland Leather Wax is a wax that is optimized for protecting cases, knife sheaths and holsters to ensure they retain their stiffness and shape. Other leather creams, waxes and oils available on the market are best suited for leather products that need to be softened to retain their flexibility, such as boots, saddles and gloves. By softening the leather, these products risk weakening leather products that are shaped to a specific size to fit the object they are intended to protect, such as a knife.
Lapland Leatherwax is Casström's own blend of mainly natural products such as beeswax, carnauba wax and neatsfoot oil.
How to use leather wax?
Apply the wax directly to the leather with a cloth. Let the wax dry on the leather for approx. 30 minutes and polish the surface with a clean cloth. After approx. 24 hours, the leather can be re-polished for the best possible results. The leather now has a protective layer that makes the surface resistant to dirt and moisture. Reapply as needed, or at least a couple of times a year.
Worth noting
- Light leather may darken slightly after use, and matte leather will become shinier.
- Close the jar tightly to prevent the wax from drying out.
- Produced in Sweden.
