Knife blade without ricasso from Finland made of carbon steel 80crv2. Comes sharp with a polished bevel and black surface. The ricasso is the area between where the edge ends and the shaft begins. Since this blade is without ricasso, it means that the knife blade's edge is ground all the way into the shaft, in traditional Finnish style.

Flat grind with very small secondary edge.

For this blade you can use a sleeve that has a hole 3x17mm (see description of each sleeve) + 10 mm point for the edge, i.e. a pointed hole 3x27mm. Fine-tune with a file. Or do the best you can and start from a whole brass plate .
